What Is A Residual Income?

What Is A Residual Income?

All businesses that exist are for profit. They produce to provide products, goods, and services to a market in need. Time, money and resources are expended for purpose of distribution. A common, uneducated person will never see all the moving parts involved in the operation of a business.

A consumer that works a job and draws a pay check may not always understand where that money comes from. They don’t get to see the revenue generating process which enables companies to pay their employees. All they know is how to do their job and account for their time.

Cost Of Business| Part 2

If you’re in the home based business industry you need to be in one business or building one income, especially if you’re new or struggling and not producing results. You don’t need to be involved with 2 to 6 different businesses, because if you can’t make one business work then you can’t make any other business work.

There are 2 primary reasons for this and the first reason is no skill. All home based businesses require the same skill, effort, and energy to succeed. There’s nothing wrong with multiple streams, but if you’re new and struggling you shouldn’t try and take on more than one business.

How To Get Started With My Coaching Program

Are you looking for results in the form of traffic, leads & sales? If the answer is yes, then you’re in the right place. There is a huge deception and misconception when it comes to success. People think that the reason that they are not having success or earning money is because of their company, products or services, and in some cases the business model or compensation plan. That is the furthest from the truth. This lie leads people to jump from company to company or business opportunity to business opportunity. The end result is wasted time, wasted money , stress, anxiety and a prolonged path to success.

The Importance of Professional Tools: Part 1

The Importance Of Professional Tools: Part 1

The Importance Of Professional Tools: Part 1

When it comes to this industry most people think because it’s the internet that there are not supposed to be any cost associated with doing business online. This is simply not the case. The primary purpose of marketing tools is to give you more reach. To allow you to find and be found

Now the question is Are you using the right tools for your business?

I want to talk to you about the importance of having tools and why you need them to leverage your time and create time efficiency in your profession. Every profession under the sun have tools that make their job easier or give them the ability to complete the job.

Depending on the profession some jobs just can’t be completed unless we have the right tool for the right job. In the video above I picked the top 3 most dangerous professions starting with construction, the oil field and the mine field to give you an example. None of those professions can be a success without tools that were specifically engineered for those type of tasks.

Why You Need Professional Tools

Why You Need Professional Tools

  1. Cost Effective
  2. Time Efficiency

For an experienced professional that is a very silly question. For someone who needs to be educated that is a legitimate question. People often ask the following questions :

  • Why do I need to brand myself?
  • How is this going to help me build my business?
  • How is a domain name going to help me make money?
  • How is having a website or blog is going to help me build or make money in my business?
  • Why do I need a lead capture or autoresponder
  • Why do I need to spend money on tools in order to make money?

So let me simply explain this if you want to spend 8, 10 or 12 hours a day manually talking to everyone about your business then you don’t need the tools to help you build your business. If you prefer to manually email 100’s of different individuals a day about your business then you don’t have to have these tools to help your business. However, if you want to turn your work load in to 3-4 hours worth of work as opposed to 8, 10, or 12 hours a day manually then you will definitely want to use tools to leverage your time and to leverage the internet.

The Difference Between Products and Services

Hey there Diana Grace Thompson here your professional internet and network marketing coach also the founder and creator of dianagracethompson.com Showing you the process of how to create your way to success.I want to talk to you about products and services over the next few moments

What is a product? It is an article or substance that is manufactured or refined for sale. A good idea, method, or object created as a result of a process and serves a need or satisfies a want. It has a combination of tangible and intangible attributes such as benefits, features, functions, and uses that a seller offers a buyer for purchase.

In marketing a product is anything that might satisfy a want or need. In retailing products are called merchandise. What is a service? the action of helping or doing work for someone. a system supplying a public need such as transport, communications, or utilities such as electricity and water.

Customer service- provision to customer or clients

table service- food service by waiters and waitresses also known as servers.

Military service – a countries armed forces

Public service – services that are aimed to produce a public good

Selfless service – service that is performed without any expectation or result or reward

What’s the difference?  In the home based business industry people often confuse the difference between a product and a service and they pass them off as being the same thing when in fact they are not the same thing. Products are often consumable, usable, something you can perceive with the five senses, all transactions are for one price, you pay for it once and you own it. You can also pay installments to pay it off until there are no more installments left such as a vehicle or house payment. Once you buy it you own it, such as food automobiles, books, electronics.

On the other hand, services is something that requires repeat business for a recurring service, such as an oil change, light bill, internet bill, and electricity is a perfect example of a service. My coaching program is a service, hosting is a service, the autoresponder is a service.

Products and Services. What’s The Difference?

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES. WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

Lets talk about the attitude of a consumer or buyer. In the home based industry people have 2 hats. They have the business hat or the consumer hat. They put them on and take them off when it’s most convenient for them. Most people’s attifudes are wrong which serves as a testament as to why they continue to struggle and fail in this business. By not being educated or by having the wrong motives they don’t know which hat they have to have on when they should have it off.

Now most consumers are looking for the best deal.  They are looking for the best price possible because they never should spend more than they have to. The consumer simply wants the most value for there money. A lot of times they don’t care about the cost, but they will shop around so they they can again get the best deal. Business minded people who are trying to make money 9 times out of 10 because they fail to see things from the consumers point of view. Business people are often blinded by there ambition. In our industry people wont use products unless there is a compensation plan attached to it. They won’t use a service unless there is a compensation plan attached to it. That is the wrong attitude and mindset to have.

Here is something you pay for. When you go to buy gas that is something you need to get from point A to point B. When you buy fuel you are not looking to be compensated from a compensation plan when you fill up. You don’t seek compensation for something that you need or that is vital to your livelihood.

If you have a home office where you were able to work from home or even if you were going to work in a business building  offline you would go and buy a computer , probably a chair to sit in, a trashcan, and anything that would be considered office supplies. The bottom line is that there are online services that you need to pay for if you expect to get results and make an impact from your business. There are things that you should be seeking but it’s not compensation.

Products and Services. What’s The Difference?

products-services-1

Products and Services. What’s The Difference?

Here’s what not to buy and pay for  . You don’t need to use a 3rd party system to help you generate leads. You don’t need a 3rd party system to help you build a website that is impacable of delivering the results that you are looking for. Free marketing systems and done for you is a trap, a trick, and a smokescreen to keep new and struggling marketers new and struggling. You don’t need to pay monthly for personal development platforms . All you have to do is buy the book, cd, or audio or ebook. You pay for it once and you own it forever.

Anyone who tries to make a program for a monthly fee stay away from it, because you can generally find the same information on Youtube.

Here is what to buy and what to pay for . Products and services have to hold there value.  Your domain name will always be the first most valuable thing that you pay for. Even though you don’t make money from owning it. Hosting will always be the 2nd most valuable thing that you pay for because without it’s impossible for anyone to see or find your brand. Having control and the ability to be able to control your personal marketing system is the greatest value that you can give yourself. It’s the most superior investment that you can make in yourself. Tools such as these are needed for online business or income building.
